Recycled Items

HumphreyLine has provided a line of recycled products to the promotional products industry for over 30 years. The materials we use are our "home scrap," which we re-grind, and this is classed as post-industrial recycled plastic. We add virgin black color concentrate to the regrind at about a 4% let-down rate, resulting in products that are 96% recycled. The source materials vary, but in general they are our own molding or printing rejects, but the plastic still has a lot of life left in it. A leading consumer goods company has done a study with recycled plastic bottles, and found that plastic can be re-used over 12 times with no significant degradation in its molecular structure.
